Banned off the golf course?? please help..?

Posted on October 23rd, 2011 by admin

ill make this short.. a somewhat new manager at a local golf course recently kicked me off, or banned me from the golf course. His reasons is that i’m stealing and selling drugs on the property.. yet i absolutely do NOT. am i really banned from this public golf course? or are there more steps the manager has to go through to actually get me banned? please help me out. thanks.

btw.. i’m really not stealing or selling drugs…
i believe the only reason she thinks this is because i’m a part time student with no job who is on the college golf team.. so what else do i have time to do except practice practice and practice.. am i right?? i do spend around 4-5 hours on the golf course every day. so you can see how this may change my life.

I like the "find other courses" idea, but I also know that it’s not always that easy. If you’re being honest, there has to be a way to fight this. Isn’t there someone higher on the food chain? If she’s "just" (not meant as disrespect) the manager, there has to be someone in a more important position to help you. Try your golf coach, as well: maybe s/he can explain to the manager what kind of person you are and how she’s mistaken about you.

Golf sales and such are on a downturn… it doesn’t make sense for the manager to just boot you out without giving you due process, at least from an economical standpoint. If it gets around that the manager has a hair-trigger temper, jumps to conclusions about her patrons (who are providing her her ability to make money) and doling out unreasonable punishments it could get ugly if there were an exodus of customers.

Should Golf Courses be Deemed Public Property?

Posted on October 13th, 2011 by admin

And used for community purposes like housing the poor and for public parks and recreation instead of wasting it on dumb white people (and to be fair some sell out minorities) hitting a white ball across acres of land? What a waste.

we have at least FIVE in our city. FIVE GOLF COURSES

Larceny Burglary question with separation?

Posted on October 2nd, 2011 by admin

you and your spouse separate, you obtain a court order prohibiting your spouse from entering your home. You return one night and find that your spouse used his key to enter and that he took his golf clubs. Is your spouse guilty of burglary? What about larceny? Does your spouse have any defense if he believed that the golf clubs were exclusively his property?

Being separated is not the same as being divorced.

The laws of your state may provide for "community property" or everything is co-owned.

At least you have a contempt of court if the court ordered the spouse to stay away from the house and you can prove the spouse was in the house after the order was made.

Is it illegal to kill an animal if it is destroying property?

Posted on September 30th, 2011 by admin

The animal is wild, undomesticated. It is destroying grass on a golf course. Is it legal to kill this animal?

You’ll have to check local ordinances to be sure, but in many places, yes. Do it humanely. If it is on an endangered species list, then no. If there is a local animal control agency, it would probably be best to call them in instead. If the animal poses an immediate threat, then you’re likely to be fine, but it has to be an imminent threat to people.

What can I do, my friend gave away my personal property?

Posted on August 20th, 2011 by admin

2 1/2 years ago I asked my friend if I could keep my golf clubs in his garage, he said "absolutely, no problem". I asked him last week if I could come by and pick up my clubs as I had an opportunity to play and I wanted to get them out of his space. He replied three days later telling me that I was a year too late, that " Value Village became the benefactor of the clubs". He basically has admitted to taking my clubs out of his garage and donating them without my knowledge or consent. what are my options here?

I don’t think there is much that you can do. I do think it was a crappy thing for him to do. He should of at least gave you a warning that he was going to donate them if you did not pick them up.

Can my landlord make me pay for damage if I don’t have a lease?

Posted on July 16th, 2011 by admin

I left my rented property last week and told the landlord on the day I moved. I know it wasn’t fair not giving any notice but I only knew I was moving 3 days before and my landlord has never done much for me he left me a week and a half without any water while I have a baby in the house along with other things . I don’t owe him any rent as I was always up to date with my payments but he is trying to invoice me for minor damage. However, I payed him a deposit which i feel is more than enough to fix a small hole in the wall. I moved into the flat in 0ct 2009 and my lease was up in April 2010. Can my landlord make me pay if i havn’t had a lease in over a year? Also I payed him cash in hand for the first 5 months and then started making payment into his private golf account. Is that legal for a tenant to pay rent into a private account or does it have to be a business account?
I left half way through the month that I’d already paid rent in advance for. Yeah I know it wasn’t right not giving notice but when your stuck in a crappy flat that the landlord has promised he’ll fix and never has and you get an opportunity to leave then I’m sure yous would jump at the chance as well.

Being on a lease does not relieve you of the responsibility of not paying for any potential damage you left while residing in the rental.

If the damage exceed your deposit then you would be required to pay the additional amount.

Being without water for several months should have been addressed at that time. You are now throwing up smoke screens attempting to rationalize your not wanting to pay for the damage your caused.

Then you only gave a 3 day notice you were moving, this was not a good move on your part. This also is another reason for withholding your deposit as the landlord has no rent from you for the month you moved.

I am not sure of the notice required in your country, however, I am sure it is more than 3 days prior to you moving.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

I have 2 warrants out, can I make a police report & not get arrested?

Posted on July 10th, 2011 by admin

My now ex has my golf clubs at his mother’s house and is threatening me via text to sell them. I have 2 warrants out that I just found out about late Friday afternoon and can’t go to court until Tuesday due to the long weekend. I want to file a report and have already called the police but never made a report except that the conversastion was recorded. I’m afraid if I do make a report I will be the one arrested even if I do get my property back which is not what I want…I know a police officer who would not arrest me and come with me to claim it (you have to be present w/ a cop to claim property, they don’t claim it for you in CA) but I don’t remember his name and the division station won’t be open til Tuesday. I don’t know what to do cause I don’t trust him as far as not selling them cause he is a tweaker and I can call his mom and let her know I need to pick them up but I don’t know what my ex has said to her so it may be a lose-lose situation for me! Please I need advice BESIDES that I need to get my own crap taken care of! Thanks!

I need info about a "contempt of court" hearing?

Posted on June 26th, 2011 by admin

How long does it take to get a contempt of court hearing?
On Feb. 26, my attorney told me he would request a contempt of court hearing. How long does it normally take? I’m going through a divorce and my husband is selling some of our marital property. (golf cart, lawn mowers, yard shed, etc.!)
Additional Details

It can take a month or two…

In the meantime, you should beg your husband to take you back…you made a vow "for better or worse"

Is Donald Trump acting out of spite?

Posted on June 12th, 2011 by admin

ONE of the residents living on the edge of Donald Trump’s £750 million golf resort says the billionaire’s organisation put up a fence around his house and then billed him for it.
David Milne, whose home at Hermit Point on the Menie estate is near the site planned for the resort’s luxury hotel development, has been at loggerheads with the American tycoon since he refused to sell his home to the Trump Organisation.

He was one of four homowners at Menie who had been living with the threat of being evicted from their homes until Mr Trump announced earlier this year that he had ruled out compulsory purchase orders to help build his massive golf development.

Mr Milne, 46, a health and safety adviser, said yesterday the Trump Organisation had set up markers for the boundaries between the two properties and that the billionaire, without warning, had then instructed his team to put up a fence.

He then sent him an invoice demanding Mr Milne pay £2,820 – half of the total bill of £5,640.

Mr Milne said: "I’m just ignoring the demand. There is no way I’m going to pay it.

"Scotland is lacking in Golf courses". You’re having a larff. Stop pulling my leg.

Trump doesn’t stand a chance.

A contract needs to have an offer, acceptance and consideration to be legal. Furthermore, it cannot be past.
