Should I buy a place in Palm Springs or somewhere in Arizona?

Posted on February 17th, 2010 by admin

I’m a Canadian (Calgary) looking to buy a recreational property in Palm Springs, CA or somewhere in Arizona. I golf a lot so thats a main feature, but I am also young… palm springs seems to be for older people. Anyone have any recommendation and why?

Arizona would be a better choice. Probably either Phoenix or Tucson. Lots of golf courses, an a government that isn’t as crazy as California’s..

I wouldn’t buy a place in the desert, with how little rain we are getting, towns like those will dry up, and people will have to move.
not a good long term investment in my book.
