can i force the golf club next to my property to put up netting?

I am worried that a golf ball driven from the golf course behind my house will at the least damage property and at the worst actually hit someone who is in the back yard. The hole in question parallel to my property and I believe that the balls are being driven with too much force will being hooked. This is only a par 3 course.

No you can’t force them to do that.

If you’re so worried about that why did you buy the house there in the first place?

Also since it’s just a par 3 the chances of a ball going into your property are pretty slim especially if you’re not right next to the green itself

Unfortunately I know through experience that this is not possible. I also have the same problem. You can however force them to take out insurance to safeguard your property and anyone in the vicinity.

I’m certainly not a lawyer, but part of the question depends on whether the course was there first. If you bought the house knowing the course already existed, you may get a much different answer.
