If your property is separate from the golf course (as in you don’t live in a golf community) then, yes you could legally post no trespassing signs and insist that the balls are your. Not a great way to make friends, but if you want all of those golfers to think you are some kind of embittered old fogey, go ahead. If it were me, I’d put up a sign that says that your lawn on OB, it’s OK to pick up the ball, but please don’t hit from your property.
