Divorced for over a year. My ex wife found a key and took all my stuff without my knowing. Is this legal?

Posted on November 24th, 2010 by admin

I separated from my ex wife in september 2008 & got divorced in november 2009. I stayed in the matrimonial home as i had owned it for 3 years before we met. Unfortunately my mortgage company would not transfer the mortgage into my sole name as they didn’t feel i earned enough to do so, so she remained on the mortgage. I went to see a solicitor who drew up a residency order that outlined the basics due to her not residing at the address anymore & also outline basically she had no claim to my things in the event of my death & neither did i if the same happened to her.
I have returned to my house today after spending the weekend with my new partner to find she has entered the property & taken everything! She gave me her key & my mother-in-laws key back when we split up so she must have had one copied before she gave them back. There is no real point to her doing this other than to be malicious as she’s had her own place for the past 2 years & took everything she wanted when she left. I contacted her as my neighbour saw her car outside my house over the weekend. I asked her if she’d been in my house to which she replied, "Yep!" I asked her why & she told me she wanted the things to sell to make some money as she’s about to go bankrupt. She has taken furniture, games consoles, photos of out children, all their toys & even my personal things like golf clubs, power tools & even sentimental things from my childhood. She’s been in the loft & made a huge mess & even ripped up 7 steps worth of the stairs carpet & taken that????? I have no idea where i stand as local police feel its a domestic situation & don’t feel they need to get involved!!!??? I’m at my whits end as she has persecuted me at every opportunity for the past 2 years, using our children as weapons and the likes. The best thing is that she left me as i had an industrial accident at work & was disabled by it!!?? Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest, you engage a legal representative to ,take up a civil action ,for the return of all goods , or payment for the value of such ,the lady should have laid claim during divorce proceedings , so as to have a share of her entitlements ,i.e. superannuation ,furniture , etc. you will require a statuary document to prove you had ownership , at the time of settlement ,of the marriage . The police will not get involved in domestic arguments unless ,a physical attack has been made ,then its a different ball game ,it would appear that your ex. is openly deifying , you its as if she is saying you would`nt have the " balls " to do anything about it ,but the fact remains she has entered your property with out your consent, and has removed items ,which is an indication of theft ,and has left the premises in disarray ,it is a pity you never had the foresight to have recorded evidence of the house , or photos to prove your claim , I do hope you have changed the keying of your locks , otherwise who knows how many keys have been cut , and given out to " friends "

11)if h + 12=22,then h=10
12)if 4m = -15,then -12m = 45

Solve each equation.Check your solution
13) 14 = 8 – 6r
14)9 + 4n = -59
15) 3/4 – 1/2n = 5/8
16) 5/6s + 3/4 = 11/12

Determine which of the following passages is an argument, explanation, or neither. If the passage contains an argument, identify its premises and conclusion. If the passage is an explanation, identify its explanans and explanandum.

1. If you really want to succeed in golf, completely forget the ball, the hole, your stance, your clubs, and all physical tokens of the game, and open your mind then to the cosmic harmonies that, alone, can bring all these tokens into proper alignment.

2. Since particle-like behavior and wave like behavior re the only properties that we ascribe to light and since these properties now are recognized to belong not to light itself, but to our interaction with light … Without us light does not exist. To say that something has no properties is the same as saying that it does not exist.

3. Suppose you could mark the molecules in a glass of water; then pour the contents of the glass into the ocean and stir the latter thoroughly so as to distribute the marked molecules uniformly throughout the seven seas; and then you took a glass of water from anywhere in the ocean. This would make a fascinating experiment.

help on these?? i am trying to study!!!

1. is an Argumentum ad populum: An argument attempting to sway popular feeling or to win people’s support by appealing to their sentimental weaknesses;
2. is an Argumentum ad ignorantiam: An argument purporting to demonstrate a point or to persuade people, which avails itself of facts and reasons the falsity or inadequacy of which is not readily discerned;
3. is not an argument, as least not one that is listed in the reference. http://www.ditext.com/runes/a.html It would then appear to be an opinion.

In America, why don’t we all share wealth equally as one?

Posted on November 4th, 2010 by admin

Imagine if we all combined all of our money all together in one gigantic fund and invested ALLL that money in building a major castle to be shared property of every American!

Imagine an America where you don’t have to pay for airplane travel,

Imagine an America where all food is totally free!

Imagine an America where you can have everything you want, all the free vacations you want,

all the free time to play on golf courses, free ice cream, free toys, free TV sets, free Ipods!!!!!

We can have all this free stuff, all we have to do is tax the rich so that ALL that money that people are making in corporations and stufff….

would be used entirely to enrich every person in America. And together, we would go to work 9 to 5, not YOU, or ME

EVERY American would go to work 9 to 5 being anything they wanna be in order to have an equal quality of living exactly to every other American.
And we would then be as one family making things and investing not YOUR money, or MY money…

IT would be all our shared money and shared property neighbor helping neighbor

You are assuming every American would work 9 – 5. LOTS will not, they want their food stamps to engorge themselves on donuts and beer. You are not going to get them off the couch.

months ago my bf met up with a few 20 yr olds, they offered him alcohol and got drunk, these people stole stuff in cars, my bf didnt steal, he was there and mostly throwing up passed out on the floor. the next day they took him home and gave him the stuff to sell on craigslist saying they were going to give him some of the $. the cops found something stolen in his house but he said he wasnt the one but he was there. Cops went to his school later and discovered other stolen stuff that was given to him, he said he didnt know it was stolen but he admitted to having a valued $3000 thing but leaving it somewhere, the police told him he could get $3000 restitution but the stolen property was all beat up and scratched, it was old and nowhere near worth $3000 ( set of golf clubs with the bag). He also told him he could be looking at time in juvenile hall for possession of stolen property and being at the scene of the crime. He would not rat on the people that did it so its all falling to him, PLEASE HELP I dont want him to go to Juvee, hes a nice guy and does well in school.

Please someone that knows anything about these kind of things that can give me an educated answer on what could happen to him and how he could avoid making it worse or help making it better. Thank you so much and please read.

He was charged with possession of stolen property and being at the scene of the crime

The state is California

Well, that is sad.He needs a lawyer.
A prime example of hanging out with the wrong people, which was his choice.

Restitution doesn’t depend on the condition of the item.

Was he charged with possession of stolen property and being at the scene of a crime?
What State?
The punishment for receiving stolen property is a fine , juvie, probation and /or community service. The term of years imposed varies from state to state. In jurisdictions where value is an element of the offense, the severity of the penalty is commensurate with the value of the goods.
