CM Lim Guan Eng has urged Zahrain to resign from his posts in Island Golf Properties. He said the post of chairman was given to Zahrain because he is a member of PKR. Now, since Zahrain has left PKR, he should rightly resign from IGP as well.
Lim said he has checked with PDC and they confirmed that Zahrain was never sacked from IGP as Zahrain alleged in a newspaper report. Lim also explained why his relationship with Zahrain has gone sour. According to Lim, there is a ‘RM2 company’ which was set up 2 months before IGP calls for a tender in Dec. 2008 where Zahrain recommended. Lim said the company has no track record.
