Do muscles have elastic properties?

Posted on January 17th, 2010 by admin

In my profession as golf instructor we talk about the value of "windind up"; creating "stretching feeling" in the various muscle groups to be "released" like the snapping back of a taut elastic band.Is this factually possible?

There’s a lot of research work done on the "spring qualities" of muscles, so it’s not true that muscles are merely "flexible things that can tighten up". Below are a number of articles on this property of muscles.

What is the term for the right of citizens to walk across privately owned land on a trail ?

Posted on January 17th, 2010 by admin

A home is on a one acre-lot and is on a golf course that also includes a creek and a trail along the creek. The creek runs across the north side of the property and the deed includes allowing 5 feet section of the lot where citizens are allowed to walk on the trail

What is the term for the right of citizens to walk across privately owned land on a trail? Is this right classified as appurtenant or in gross?

She knows it’s an easement, she wants to know if it is appurtenant or in gross. I believe that this would be an easement in gross because there is no clear dominant tenemant to the easement, it is held by the public.

Landlord threw away personal property…what to do?

Posted on January 17th, 2010 by admin

WE live in Virginia……………Our landlord while we were moving out came over and threw away or personal property, a Deer head mount of a trophy non typical buck which was hunted on a private paid for hunt on a farm in Michigan, golf clubs and clothes. He said it was junk! We were NOT done moving yet, he also deadbolted us out while we were still moving out and had property there. It took us total of 1 week to get totally moved out and he was so impatient and eeger to get us out so he could show it he started doing this crazy stuff! He is an anti hunter by the way and could care less the value of this deer rack! How can I sue him and who should I contact as far as Tenant rights and throwing away property and him being so anti hunting bound to destroy our stuff?

Doesn’t matter what he’s against, you have rights just like he does. He violated your rights which is an offense. Take it to court.
