well in the weekend i ended up getting into abit of trouble.. i have already made a police statement along with 5 of my friends and the next door neigbour to the scene of where the fight erupted…

This is how the story goes….

after a whole day of drinking and going to partys by midnight i had a domestic with my girlfriend where i had lashed out and punched the fish bowl and lamp i had left the room where that incident had happened and gone to the kitchen where i had grabbed a knife i cut my arm a couple times in the kitchen before leaving with the knife.. as walking down the street i had holstered the knife in my belt and had kept walking down the street with the intent to hurt myself more, as i got further down the street i had got into an argument with a older bigger man then me… the argument was wild and out of nowhere the man threw a few haymaker kicks at me.. i had than removed the knife from my belt where i would have thought he would have stopped the attack but no another kick came toward me an i had lunged forward at cut him in the forehead where blood oozed out quite severe looking… i took a couple steps back, the guy seemed to be alright but still wanting to fight, i figured if i kept this up im going to kill this guy…. i told him i didnt want to hurt him further so i walked away from the scene… he followed me till i got to my house where friends and my gf were living and had walked inside… the man then walked up the driveway throwing outdoor items at the house, also bottles thru the window.. i felt like going out and ending his life but i tryed my best to stay inside.. by 5 mins of so of listening to this guy screaming theats and yelling a few of my friends turn up to my house where they see this older man he looks like 30 or so… yelling and screaming and bleeding cause one of my friends is a nutter he came and seen if we where alright while telling that man to stay there… he than took a golf club and chased the man from the property and had hit the man round the legs with the golf club.. the golf club snapped in half so he threw the leftover peices of the golf club at his as he ran down the road….

police turn up 10 mins later… and round us all up for statements….

the man was discharged from hospital 1-2 days after the incident, police say the cut was not too serious but bleed alot.. he told me i was lucky i didnt hit him in the torso..

the knife used was quite large its like 20 cm or maybe abit less has jagged blade for like cutting bread but a sharp tip.

i have been charged for wounding with intent to Greviuos Bodily Harm..

wat do you think will happen to me… how can i make this look better on my defence..

the only thing wrong i that i have a previous incident with a knife where noone was hurt another drunken episode.. that happened a couple years ago.. i went to prison for that incident.

I live in New Zealand, i want to pay for the mans hospital bills, maybe write a letter, deal with my bad alcohol addiction, get some good references from my work and move on but im thinking the worst and its killing me inside…

wow. That guy was probably drunk or high if he attacked you like that out of nowhere. Walking around with a knife was definitely a bad idea, but wouldn’t the incident be self defense since he attacked you first.
You shouldn’t pay for his hospital bills or feel bad. He attacked you and kept taunting you after you had tried to end it and went inside your house. Getting rehab for alcohol addiction is a good idea.

just flicking around google and checked a property website in miami. you could buy a 3 bed 2 bath condo only 10 mins from miami inter. airport, beside a golf course and 30 mins from the beach for about $1000. can this be too good to be true? if i was to purchase a property in miami florida as a holiday home what sort of cost would i encounter? first hand experience would be a great help.

Property built in this neck of the woods are usually made of wood.
Easily rebuilt because of the extreme weather conditions ie., tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.. (ever seen the news?)

See, i have huge hill in the back of my house, and it’s private property(its a golf coarse). For 1 week kids have sled down with the snowboards landing into my grass and tearing it up. I spend have spent at least $200-$300 trying to make the house nice with flowers and adding furtalizer. I called the owners of this property and they said it’s illegal for them to even come onto this land. We have talked to the parents of these kids and they don’t really care. my problem is i have NO privacy, they are screaming all day. My kids are getting angry as well because these are students that are rude to them.
now my question, what should i/can i do to get these kids off my lawn and stop vandalizing? I don’t want to be mean because these are the people my kids go to school with.
p.s In the summer time the use bikes instead of sleds and i have asked them NICELY to leave.

how about a razor wire, just kidding, if you have tried talking to the parents about this, sound like the next step is talking to the authorities about it. see if the police will do something. if nothing else maybe they can make them understand that its costing you money for repair etc. i would suggest documenting the issues, you might have to sue for damages, hope not, try to talk it out civilly first.

concrete examples:
a bishop speaks his concern about poverty but he has his own nutritionist for dietary purposes. but come to think of it: mother teresa, mahatma gandhi, bishop romero didnt have nutritionists.they faced their mission and their death.

a priest talks about the economic situation, global awareness, migrant workers, but after the mass he will rest in his air-conditioned room.

a president of a certain country is giving donations and raising funds for victims of calamities but this president cannot and will never sell his/her properties, haciendas, golf course, ranch for these people.

now, we face the victims in china earthquake, the cyclone victims in myanmar, poverty in africa, human trafficking in vietnam. i ask myself, how, and in what way, can i express my solidarity with these people everyday. how sincere i am.

it’s very easy to donate some money and after that you can go and drive your brand new BMW. is that real discipleship?
