can i force the golf club next to my property to put up netting?

Posted on January 20th, 2012 by admin

I am worried that a golf ball driven from the golf course behind my house will at the least damage property and at the worst actually hit someone who is in the back yard. The hole in question parallel to my property and I believe that the balls are being driven with too much force will being hooked. This is only a par 3 course.

No you can’t force them to do that.

If you’re so worried about that why did you buy the house there in the first place?

Also since it’s just a par 3 the chances of a ball going into your property are pretty slim especially if you’re not right next to the green itself

I am planning a Feb. 2013 trip to Maui. Should I stay at Wailea Beach Marriott or Makena Beach/Golf Resort?

Posted on January 12th, 2012 by admin

Due to my travel budget and reward point credits, these are the only two properties I am considering. Has anyone been to either of these resorts specifically in February, which I understand is the winter/rainy season? How was the weather on this part of the island? How are the winds? How are the beaches at each property? How are the pools (heated or not, warm or cold)? We will have 2 adults and 2 teenagers in one room–how are the rooms?

Thanks for any advice as I make this big decision!

Hey, welcome to Hawaii, ok? You know, Marie the professional hea, and she nail it down good, I agree with her, not go to Makena less you wanna play lotta golf, ok? Peace and aloha to you!

how long does it take to get a contempt of court hearing?

Posted on December 9th, 2011 by admin

On Feb. 26, my attorney told me he would request a contempt of court hearing. How long does it normally take? I’m going through a divorce and my husband is selling some of our marital property. (golf cart, lawn mowers, yard shed, etc.!)

A few weeks, maybe a month or so..

I’d push your attorney for the court date for the hearing. I’d also document everything being sold so you can get the fair market value and have that money added into the divorce settlement. Good luck to you!

What would be the impact of spreading wealth equally to everybody?

Posted on November 21st, 2011 by admin

Group 1: (THE GROUP THAT NEEDS TO BE TAXED MORE)
All the affluent communities with Hollywood signs, limosuines, Rolls Royces on every block, Golf and Tennis resorts, 15 acre property, big backyard patio with barbecue smoker, all those spoiled rich kids playing with super soakers carefee and living the good life…
…bragging about the A+ they got on their biology test after hunkering down in the COZY house loft or their King Size bed to study and take breaks watching the Flat Screen Plasma TV

Group 2: (THE GROUP THAT NEEDS TO RECEIVE MORE INCOME REDISTRIBUTIONS IN SOCIAL WELFARE)
Starving poor people, jobless, keeping it strong, begging on the streets for spare change so they can get something to eat ya feel me?
People who have been unemployed for years because they can’t get job because they been out of a job…. they aint seen no light of day…. they is starving…. beg…borrow…steal…..crime….the only money they can generate is drug money and rich man try to ban their skillsets so they aint can sell no drugs dude…….

So if we could redistribute wealth EXACTLY EQUALLY between these two groups, then everyone can share some of those flatscreen plasma TVs, we can redistribute some of the backyards of the rich people in affluent suburbia….. to starving poor street people homeless and broke…so they can share watching the flatscreen TVs….
We can take housing on Beverly Hills and force people to give up pieces of their property to starving poor people on welfare…. so that the resources are shared exactly the same.
And people at first will hate me over this, but… what we do is we have the Federal Government step in with guns and FORCE these social justice changes and otherwise you would be sentenced to jailtime, and jailtime will be used to show Rich people what it’s like to share the same living conditions as poor people…. so when they gets out of jail…. they will realize what they got at home needs to be redistributed to the poor so that outside of jail….. it won’t be like jail for poor people only

but good better than jail for everybody

How about I come to your house, and the houses of your family and take your money or land by the force of my guns?

I would just be redistributing your money to me and mine, would that be wrong?

Legal for minor (16-17 years old) to operate a golf cart on Church private property?

Posted on November 14th, 2011 by admin

Can a minor operate a 6 passenger golf cart on private property without a drivers license. I have a few 16 and 17 year olds without a license that are operating my golf carts and I am not sure if there are any CA Laws that say that it is illegal. They are only operated on private property. Thanks

Do you/they have permission from the church to use the property? If not, no, you can’t legally do that.

You mention golf garts (plural); are you in the cart business? If so, your business liability insurance would cover, but again, without the church’s permission, you could be in trouble.

Does it bother you that the VA took land that was donated for Homeless Vets and leased it to golf course?

Posted on November 11th, 2011 by admin

a private school, businesses, a theater, etc?

"Los Angeles (CNN) — The connection seems obvious: nearly 400 acres of land set aside to house veterans and thousands of veterans who need a place to call home.

But Los Angeles’ estimated 8,000 homeless vets have been barred from living at the sprawling campus for decades. The West Los Angeles property — some of the most valuable in the nation — was donated in 1888 to "establish, construct and permanently maintain" a branch of a national home for veterans, according to the original deed.

And for nearly a century, that’s what happened: permanent veterans facilities sprang up, including a post office, a trolley system and housing for as many as 4,000 vets, said American Civil Liberties Union lawyer Mark Rosenbaum.

But "beginning with the Vietnam War era, vets were kicked out," said Rosenbaum, who’s leading a class-action suit over the property against the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Now, a generation after Vietnam, the facility’s abandoned buildings are off limits to the veterans they were intended to serve.

"It’s a shame," said Carolina Barrie, a descendant of the heiress who donated the land. Veterans should be "given every single opportunity to rehab their lives — and if they have no place to live, a place to live."

The VA saw fit to lease parts of the property to several businesses. In September, the VA canceled three leases after rising criticism. But other entities remain on the property including a public golf course, a college baseball stadium, a theater and practice fields for the exclusive private Brentwood School."

Pretty sick we need to dig deeper and I am contacting Sen. Cochran Monday, maybe it will do some good but sadly he has the second highest amount donated to him $5.5 million and Reid has $6 million. If the lobbyists have anything to do with it it will be hard to change as they donated $3.5 billion * to the House and Senate last year. The reason McCain, Kerry, Reid and Biden jumped on the TP was due to not wanting to lose that gravy train.

As you can see below McCain has taken almost half a billion, Kerry almost $400 million, Reid’s kids work for lobbyists and Joe’ son has his own company.

You would not believe the care in the Jackson MS VA, I mean what do you expect, eeoc, aa and union. those people need the space and should have it all around the country and also top notch medical care not second class type. It’s just sad. Oh well welcome back and have a great 2011! Long time no ’sea".

Banned off the golf course?? please help..?

Posted on October 23rd, 2011 by admin

ill make this short.. a somewhat new manager at a local golf course recently kicked me off, or banned me from the golf course. His reasons is that i’m stealing and selling drugs on the property.. yet i absolutely do NOT. am i really banned from this public golf course? or are there more steps the manager has to go through to actually get me banned? please help me out. thanks.

btw.. i’m really not stealing or selling drugs…
i believe the only reason she thinks this is because i’m a part time student with no job who is on the college golf team.. so what else do i have time to do except practice practice and practice.. am i right?? i do spend around 4-5 hours on the golf course every day. so you can see how this may change my life.

I like the "find other courses" idea, but I also know that it’s not always that easy. If you’re being honest, there has to be a way to fight this. Isn’t there someone higher on the food chain? If she’s "just" (not meant as disrespect) the manager, there has to be someone in a more important position to help you. Try your golf coach, as well: maybe s/he can explain to the manager what kind of person you are and how she’s mistaken about you.

Golf sales and such are on a downturn… it doesn’t make sense for the manager to just boot you out without giving you due process, at least from an economical standpoint. If it gets around that the manager has a hair-trigger temper, jumps to conclusions about her patrons (who are providing her her ability to make money) and doling out unreasonable punishments it could get ugly if there were an exodus of customers.
